Pigs at Grazing Patch Farm roam through our beautiful pastured forests. They get to do what they love: rooting all day, sleeping under trees, wallowing under water sprinklers while eating a balanced diet of organic feed. In the fall, they have a bonus treat of local apples.
After a couple of days, they move to a new pasture, getting fresh grass, bugs and dirt to dig up. They leave the previous pasture fertilized and turned up, ready for us to re-seed and rejuvenate.
The butcher said the pork is very nice, not super fatty, and knows their genetics make good quality meat.
